Conference report: DDG 2025

5 May 2025

The conference of the German Dermatological Society (DDG) took place on the first weekend in May. The congress was once again a great opportunity for us to find out about the latest news in dermatological research, to network, and to present our work to a broad specialist audience. We were able to offer extensive insights into our current projects in seven poster presentations. PD Dr Rachel Sommer drew the attention of the many attendees to the important topic of ‘psychosocial health in vitiligo’ in a great presentation and a plenary discussion. We were also very pleased with the great interest and lively discussion at our symposium ‘Applied psychodermatology - treating dermatoses holistically and patient-centred’, in which Juliane Traxler has presented results from the RCT on the effectiveness of HautKompass.
