10 years ago, i.e. in 2013, the PsoNet Münsterland was founded at the University Dermatological Clinic Münster under the direction of Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Thomas Luger, together with dermatologists in private practice in order to improve interdisciplinary cooperation and care for psoriasis patients and to hold joint further training courses. In view of the gratifying therapeutic developments also in the areas of other chronic inflammatory dermatoses, PsoNet has decided to change its name to: PsoNet/InflaDerm Münsterland!
Another anniversary has to be celebrated: Prof. Dr. Uwe Gieler, who can be called the doyen of German psychodermatology, founded the working group Psychosomatic Dermatology (APD www.psychodermatologie.eu) 40 years ago, i.e. in 1983, at the Lindau Psychotherapy Weeks.
Since then, it has represented all concerns in this growing field of interest as a working group within the German Dermatological Society (derma.ddg.de).
All this is to be celebrated together. The programme includes many exciting contributions, among others by PD Dr. Rachel Sommer on the topic of "Online interventions to improve mental health in patients with chronic inflammatory skin changes".
